So i gave myself a haircut the other day. It was the first time I took a big risk and made a complete change. here are some pictures of the process. The different stages look kinda funny.....

Take corks and make stamps!!
So today i got really bored and while i was going through some art supplies i discovered some wine corks i saved from Italy. I decided to put them to good use and make some stamps. Here's another stamp I just made out of a lino block.

So I've been needing to get some thank you cards out to people for doing interviews with me and others letting me do small jobs to make some extra cash while I've been out of school. I decided to take one of my visual journaling pages and turn it into a fun post card. here's how it turned out:

I've been giving myself hair cuts for the past month. 1. it's free 2. i can do what i want without having to feel bad for being picky 3. the back is always a surprise! :) I need to get my bathroom cleaned up soon!

My friend Rachel gave me the greatest idea ever! She suggested that I open my own design firm with a hair salon... all in one. Hints the name 'cut and paste'. Although it's highly unlikely that I'll ever be doing that, I wanted to run with the idea and create a blog of things I'm passionate about. Plus this will give me a place to post some of my latest design work and show you some inspirational hair styles.
