I'm about to move in a few weeks. This will be my 4th move in less than 2 years in the twin cities. It's a lot of moves, but for some reason I always sorta look forward to the unpacking and reorganizing phase. I'm planning on selling some things on craigslist so that i can start to get rid of all the furniture i don't need. I should really have a garage sale too at some point.

FIVE DOLLAR'S A BAG!!!

That's Right! My roommate Abby and I made it to an estate sale today. We hit the very last hour of some very slim pickings. Nonetheless, we walked out of that house with 5 dollars worth of jam packed items in a brown grocery bag. Not only was the weather refreshingly warm today.... but we got the sweetest deal. Check out these items: OH and make sure to click on the typewriter looking sheet.... it's pretty hilarious... abby found that in a box full of recipes.

Second Runway Fashion Show

This weekend I participated as a volunteer at the Second Runway Fashion Show in St. Paul. Tim and Thom Navarro asked me to do hair for their collection. The concept of the show was for designers to find materials at local goodwill stores and recreate materials into one of a kind garments to raise money for goodwill's. I would describe their collection as mod/futuristic... therefore we decided to do clean updos with a bit of a futuristic twist. Here are some photos of the hair and event:
